There’s always a lot going on here at Quit Coal.
The best way to find out more is to come to one of our monthly Volunteer Induction nights. They’re held on the first Tuesday of every month but RSVP’ing is a must! Just email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested.
We also very much welcome new folks to our weekly meetings. Meetings are at 6pm Wednesday, upstairs at Friends of the Earth (312 Smith Street, Collingwood). They are open to anyone who wants a fossil fuel free Victoria.
In case you can’t come along, check out our events calendar below for what’s on in the coming month!
The Victorian Government is set to introduce draconian new anti-protesting laws. This is a huge threat to the work that Quit Coal does to protect communities and our climate from the coal and gas industries. This is also a huge threat to our basic human rights. Come make this rally huge, marching from Trades Hall to Parliament House. More info weareunion.org.au
